From the Classroom

I can’t believe this is the last newsletter of the school year.  It seems each year gets shorter (or I’m getting older)! Thank you parents for all of the help you gave our class during this past year! You really made a difference.

We will finish up our letters this month.  Our class has really loved the “Land of The Letter People”.  The class has really learned a lot from this great program. I will be sending review homework for the rest of May.

Our Bible stories continue with Jesus’ time on earth after the resurrection and his ascension to heaven.

Our egg hunt and Easter luncheon was so much fun. The class really enjoyed it. Thank you parents once again for everything.

Our graduation will be on Wednesday, May 31st  at 6:30p.m. in the church.  I will be putting letters in your child’s cubby about the big day.

Our last day of school will be Wednesday, June 7th. If the weather stays nice we will have a ‘water day’!!

We want to thank all of our parents for your help and support during these past 2 years.  It has truly been a blessing to have your children and watch them grown from little tiny 3 year olds to big kids ready for kindergarten.  We will truly miss all of you.

From the Director

It’s hard to believe there is only one month left in our school year. We have all had such a great time and our little ones have grown so much. We are not, however, ready to wrap up the year just yet, as we still have many great projects, our annual “Fun Day” & ‘Book Fair’ events, and the too, too precious graduation ceremonies!

As this is the last newsletter of the school year, I would like to add my thanks, along with the teachers, to all our wonderful families for your help and support this year. We have had wonderful turnouts for all the special events in the classrooms, as well as our school and church programs.

You have also shown tremendous generosity during the year with your support of our pizza days, party supplies, food and special treats. All these small things add up to a year of happy memories for your child and all of us. Lastly I want to say a special good-by to all our children and families here. It has been an honor and a blessing to be a part of your lives. You will always have a special place in my heart.                       God Bless, Mrs. Nielsen
